1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Jisr platform or booking a session, you agree to these Terms in full. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the platform.

2. Description of Service

Jisr is a volunteer platform operated by LifePulse Association that allows users to book free mental health first-aid sessions with trained volunteers. The service complements but does not replace professional mental health care.

3. Eligibility

  • ◆ Users must be at least 18 years of age.
  • ◆ The service is not intended for emergencies or acute mental health crises — in emergencies call your local emergency number (999 in Bahrain).
  • ◆ Users confirm that the information they provide is accurate and truthful.

4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • ◆ Appointments may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
  • ◆ Repeated no-shows (2 or more) may result in restricted access to the service.
  • ◆ The Association reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in exceptional circumstances.

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

All sessions and shared information are strictly confidential and subject to the platform's Privacy Policy. Volunteers are bound by professional confidentiality standards.

6. Liability Disclaimer

  • ◆ Sessions provided are voluntary mental health first-aid and not specialist psychological treatment.
  • ◆ The Association and Jisr are not liable for any decisions made by the user based on session content.
  • ◆ We make every effort to ensure service quality but do not guarantee specific outcomes.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, and trademarks on the Jisr platform are owned by LifePulse Team. Reproduction or reuse without prior written permission is not permitted.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any material changes. Continued use of the platform after amendments constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent Bahraini courts.
